Urban Farmer, Philadelphia’s Steakhouse, Philadelphia, PA
They don’t call Philadelphia the City of Brotherly Love for nothing, and on February 8th it showed. After a well-deserved Superbowl win on February 4th, Philadelphia celebrated the success in style with a traditional victory parade. The parade was set to come down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, right past Urban Farmer – providing the perfect place to watch!
Calls came flooding in with interested patrons lining up to snag a space. Three lucky guests and their friends and family were lucky to secure space on our Urban Farmer patio and private dining room. From there, they had the best view in town to see the Eagle’s green busses topped with the victorious players waving.
The events started early in the morning, with crowds swarming the area as early as 7:30 am. It was unlike any other day in the city, with people filled with excitement and joy despite the frigid temperatures. There were people of all ages, the young ones who had only craved a win for a few years, and the Philadelphia loyalists who have been waiting their whole lives. Guests enjoyed their celebrations with Urban Farmer food and drink until the Eagle’s rode by around 1:30 pm.
It was such an honor to be part of such an incredible part of Philadelphia history. We all enjoyed celebrating the win with our guests, and watching them have such a fantastic time in our space doing so.
