According to Eater Denver; The Dairy Block is coming to life, as the buzz of activity within the new multi-use development will bring an eclectic mix of retailers, along with Huckleberry Roasters and Seven Grand, a new-to-Colorado whiskey bar. Scheduled to open in scattered fashion throughout the second half of 2017, the new tenants within the space will join Kachina Southwestern Grill and Poka Lola Social Club inside the new Maven, Sage Hospitality’s new independent hotel.
Developed by McWHINNEY, Sage Hospitality and Grand American Inc., the 66,000-square foot adaptive reuse development of the old Windsor Dairy in the heart of LoDo is in-part inspired by Seattle’s Pike Place Market. A vibrant pedestrian alleyway will cut through the block bounded by 18th, 19th, Wazee and Blake streets will be lined with bars, eateries, storefronts and the hotel’s event space.
Along with the new beverage purveyors, The Perfect Petal, the popular Highland Square flower shop will settle in with a second LoDo location inside the Dairy Block Lobby. Roost, a modern retail space conceived of by the founder of the Denver Flea will feature a collection of local makers and brands.
