Into From Gourav June 2017

June 2017 SRG Newsletter:

Intro from Gourav Patel, Vice President of Operations Finance for Sage Restaurant Group

As I write my first SRG newsletter, I can’t help but think back on the past year since I joined SRG’s team. In such a short time, the team pulled together and accomplished some pretty incredible feats. Without these awesome individuals and their unyielding dedication, diligence and passion, we wouldn’t be where we are today. I’m proud to be a part of that, and I’m proud of what we’ve built together. As I reflect on those achievements, I also look ahead to many more to come. So, as we’re already half-way through the year, I figured I’d share some of SRG’s 2017 milestones as well as some exciting ones coming down the pike:

A round of applause for:

  • The March openings of Kachina Southwestern Grill Denver and Poka Lola Social Club, both receiving positive editorial and customer reviews
  • The opening of Pint Brothers Alehouse at the Marriott Denver Tech Center, the first restaurant in the SRG Licensed Collection
  • Completing significant renovations to both The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar here in Denver and Mercat a la Planxa in Chicago

Get excited for:

  • Urban Farmer Steakhouse Denver opening at The Oxford Hotel this fall (following Portland’s Urban Farmer recently being named one of Travel + Leisure’s best steakhouses in the U.S.)
  • The Cruise Room’s delicate renovation to restore elements of the iconic bar
  • The brand-new concept, Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market, opening in Fort Collins this fall and in Savannah, GA, this winter

At SRG, our core mission is to create the best restaurants in the world. I hope this gives you a glimpse at how dedicated we are to pursuing that mission.

Best regards,
