Chef In Residence Dinner
Urban Farmer Denver and Executive Chef, Chris Starkus has started a Chef in Residence Dinner Series. Our first one is on February 1st and 2nd with a question and answer brunch on the 3rd of February. Chef in Residence dinners consists of chefs outside of our restaurant and most often, outside our state visiting and cooking a special tasting menu with our chef – as they’re in our “residence.” We’re excited to have Stacey Givens who owns and runs The Side Yard Farm in Portland, Oregon. A cool fact about Stacy and Chef Starkus, is that they competed on Chopped together! Chef Stacey brought ingredients all the way from her farm, to feature in our dishes in February. As a farm to table restaurant it is important that we work with chefs that are sustainable like us.
Urban Famer Denver plans to do Chef in Residence dinners four times a year, so stay tuned for our next event in the spring! Who do you think we will have visit next?
