Braddock’s American Brasserie Pays Tribute to the Red White and Blue

Friday, February 17th Executive Chef Dean Gress and Chef de Cuisine Brian Volmrich attended the 14th Annual History Uncorked, a ‘burgh benefit hosted at the largest history museum in Pennsylvania, the Senator John Heinz History Center. History Uncorked is a premier party for young professionals 21 and older which offered top-notch entertainment from DJ MADMAXX, and food and beverages from local vendors creating a Pittsburgh Restaurant Smorgasbord.

Braddock’s provided an on-site action station cooking and preparing homemade potato gnocchi, a signature Pittsburgh-inspired dish at Braddock’s, to serve to the 750 guests who were in attendance.  Executive Chef Dean Gress exclaimed, “Our booth was a huge success. Chef Brian handmade over 1,500 gnocchi throughout the night! People returned for second and third helpings and gathered to watch us do the cooking and preparation. It was a great evening of networking with old and new friends alike.”
